Late Afternoon, Pueblo Bonito

The multi-story dwellings of Chaco Canyon were abandoned around 600

years ago by the Ancient Puebloan people. Pueblo Bonito is the largest of

dozens of such structures in the Chaco Canyon area.

I have been on top of those clifffs, but not down below. We recently visited Mesa Verde- worth a day of your life. As far as this image- I guess it is afternoon by the strong yellow cast of light. I just now see the kivas in the foreground. It is difficult to pick out detail given the strong shadowing. Looks like an interesting place to visit.
