ldavidson 4 Posted January 25, 2010 Birte, if I look at this from a purely asthetic point of view I find it sensational. The warm brown tones in the childs skin and the bricks against the coolness of the bright blue is stunning. The balance of elements is very pleasing, a wonderful composition. The child is adorable, the face is full of sweet innocence. The expression is of shy, friendliness. Then, looking at it as a documentary photo it has great impact. I think anyone seeing this beautiful child, holding a stick and a pencil like precious possessions, would want to help. Another peice of brilliant work Birte. Congratulations on capturing this beautiful, dramatic, and important image. Best wishes, Linda Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted February 4, 2010 This child, so proudly holding his pencil and great stick I'm sure he'll take good care of.....is a delight.....knowing the conditions he must live in....you manageged to showcase this delightful face with the brilliant blue background and wall of bricks...great cheerful colors. Had the background been grey and dismal...like so many...this shot would tell a much different story.....wonderful work Birte.....sincerely, Gail Link to comment
