andrea-de-bonis 6 Posted January 30, 2010 i'm always happy to see a great photo, thanks! the palce, so particular, the wall that draws an arrow, an arrow that drives our eys till the scene, very little as dimension but very evident, the reflex, that double this sensation.very nice. maybe, but i am not sure becouse now i m in front of a screen that i dont know, maybe the bw can be worked better, from her, i see black not absolute and a grey's gamma a little flat, but, i repet, is possible that my screen is not ok. elportebonheur 0 Posted February 1, 2010 The initial capture is truly interesting and captured from a nice pov. However, I think Andrea has a point and a little more contrast would help already. Notwithstanding it is your photo and maybe you wanted the result you show here. Nevermind, fine work. Best regards - El Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted February 4, 2010 First of all, thanks for commenting on my Parked Bicycle picture, especially since it has allowed me to discover your portfolio. The ability to break free of stereotypes , whether social or compositional/representational and to artistically express one's personal vision, one's unique perception of the world, is something that I have always admired in an artist. This picture is a good example. In a way, I guess, every picture has an abstract dimension, a pure arrangement of line, form, tone and color within the picture frame. From that point of view alone, this photo is a masterful composition, as well as a pleasing riverscape. Link to comment
