daveinwilton 0 Posted January 24, 2010 I could tell this was a HDR from the thumbnail, but that is not bad. In my opinion it helps this image substantially, High Dynamic Range images are not inherently bad. Keeping HDR, saturation and contrast, in check is the hardest part, and I believe you have done well. From experience, I know how much HDR can help with the sky, and this sky is quite dramatic. A very nice image, of a potentially mundane subject to photograph. Much of this photos character is the dynamic visual play between the turbulent sky and the ordererly structure of the Victorian. Personally, I might have left just a skosh more head room and a little less pavers, but that is just me. Thank you for sharing. -Dave Link to comment

Sot of give the shot a sense of doom and gloom While you were taking things out of the picture IMHO you could have lost the house in the background as well, I keep finding myself wanting to look at it. - Charles Link to comment
