"House of Spirit"

I´ve been away from the PN community since 2006. This shot was

made that year. My feeling for the house was that it is not deserted.

Would be thankful for your comments, ratings and thoughts.

I forgot that I posted the last photo "Hotel Earth" 2008. I have another angle of view of this house in my folder. The caption of that photo is "Phobia"

You composed the shot well with the fence and its shadow introducing you further to the main subject. You shot at the right time, the sidelight reveals textures on the walls. The atmosphere of the shot is not haunting, although the first impression is that the house is uninhabited. Welcome back, Baldur.

Wow..very good composition, light and shadows! Cool effect..draws you in! Treatment is very well done.

I was glancing at my recent posts by people I keep track of in PN and was glad to see your name, I have missed your work.

 

It's a shame that buildings can't talk. This one would have some interesting tales to tell.

 

I must confess every time I see one of your photos I wonder why I never went to Canon during my film days.
