Narrow Escape

While photographing the surf and sky during yesterday's winter storm in

NH, I found myself capturing another photographer's desparate run to

safety as huge waves crashed upon the coast. This guy was lucky and

made it to dry land before the next wave came in. f8, 1/1000 sec.ISO

1000.

Very good image that attracted me. I love the power of the wave, the snow on the rocks and the general composition. I spotted the figure and to be honest I am still trying to decide whether it adds or detracts from the image and especially as the figure is so far away.

Nice image. You captured the force of the storm /wave very well. I agree with Tony on the figure to the right, i had to look for it (from your introduction) to find it. Personally i dont think it adds much to this beautiful shot and i may have cropped it out. Regards - michel

Ideally, the person would have been closer and a little more in the frame. Too close to the frame edge. Maybe it is a Yetti!
