Looks like the whole flower to me... Beautiful model and excellent portrait. Nice make up and hair styling, nice complexion and skin tones. Good eye contact (mesmerizing eyes btw). I would have probably left more room to the left (her right) but that's a minor point. Regard - michel

Aleksandar,

She is a very beautiful girl! You have focused very well on her eyes. She has an alluring eye contact with the camera (viewer). Her posture and expression is very regal. I almost expect to see a white pegasus or unicorn and castle in the background. The soft lighting and retouching is wonderful. I love the gloss on her lips and their specular highlights. You have turned her at an angle to the camera. This makes her look even more slim, feminine and graceful. The brown hues work very well together. They make her beautiful blue eyes really stand out. The light from the back works well to better separate her hair and shoulder from the background. The background goes nicely out of focus.

I wish she would have run her brush down the left (her left) side of her hair one more time to straighten it in the center.

The overall picture (including her skin tone) seems to have a slight green tint to it -- almost an olive green. There is some red in it to help even it out, but it is still noticeable. There is a bit of discoloration (pinkish) in the left side of the whites of her left eye. You want to make sure the whites of her eyes are white and matching.

The top and bottom composition works very well - I know you wanted to include much of her beautiful blonde hair. You could have balanced it a little better by cropping under her neckline a bit. This would have also removed the patch of skin on her left arm at the bottom. It really isn't distracting at all because it is very subdued, but it wouldn't hurt the portrait to not be there. It would have been nice if her hair had a little more sheen to it, but it is still beautiful.

Your composition is quite left heavy. You want to compositionally balance the left and right sides of the photograph. The compositional "rule" for this suggests that you position the tip of the subject's nose in the vertical center of the photograph. She really should be moved to her left.

It must just be her hair, but it looks like a strap over her left shoulder where the sun is just touching her hair. At least, there is a small dark line there. That draws my attention away from her face and should be removed. I do realize I may be the only person in the whole world to be bothered by this. It is strange how some little things bother some people. I think because she is so gorgeous, and you have done such a nice job of photographing her, that I want it to be perfect.

Nice shot,

Mark
