Guest Guest Posted January 16, 2010 Shooting from an above eye level position accentuates her nose even more, to where it is actually touching her lip. She is a very pretty woman, who is graced with a Bob Hope nose! I do love those eyes, though, they are gorgeous and very soulful! Meryl Streep has very much the same kind of nose. Look on the web at studio shots of her and see how she is photographed. Lighting and pose are geared toward minimizing it. Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted January 16, 2010 Thank you Scott...I see that and I will check out some Meryl images. In this shot, I was really wanting those eyes to be the focus ...hence the lens choice and angle...She really reminded me of a renaissance lass. Link to comment
Alex 0 Posted February 23, 2010 I must say the portrait looks very nice indeed. I do like the lighting and details. As already mentioned the perspective might have not been the most flattering but she’s is indeed a nice looking woman. The lens choice is not bad I think but it seems like you've used it at the wider end and that accentuates the nose even more than if you've shot it at the 50 MM from farther away.
