Quiet winter night

For me, I don't get the sense of "quiet" from this image. I find it to be exceedingly dynamic and forceful. I also find the colors over the top and very much out of synch with the foreground.

You could have had a beautiful image without so much heated saturation, I completely agree with Stephen.

After looking at your portfolio, I can see why you opted for such an over-the-top color rendition of this shot. I love your portfolio for the very reason that you seem to be constantly experimenting with new ideas, and you do some really creative stuff. On this image, however, I would have to agree with the above comments. The extreme saturation doesn't work for me.
