the model looks barbie doll like, the skin too smooth and perfect. The lighting is well managed, but the combination could seem ray-traced,

My goal is to produce near photorealistic results so you’re right Carey, I still need to work on the way the light is reflected off the models skin. I’ve only been playing about with 3d software for a couple of months so I still have much to learn :). Although I think that some of the effects you are seeing are coming from the diffuse highlights caused by the PS processing I have used afterwards to soften the image (merging semi-transparent sharp and blurred layers). Thanks for your thoughts, I’ll keep at it…

Very good image Mike. Great composition and use of lighting. Like the pose and the skin tones. Works well in black and white. Congrats.
