Inversion clouds over Carson Valley

Wow - wonderful image.  There's tremendous visual and natural impact here. I like the way you have captured the clouds up against the trees and snow.  This wouldn't be nearly as impactful in color. My wife and I stayed at a B&B ranch in the Washoe Valley.  This is wonderful country.

I love the contrast between snow and trees.  Did you use any filtration such as a red filter?
