henderson 0 Posted January 13, 2010 Thanks very much for your feedback on this image. This was taken near Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, a UNESCO World Heritage site near Fort MacLeod, Alberta. I hope you enjoy! Scott. Link to comment
whydangle 0 Posted January 13, 2010 I like it alot, but I think the saturation slider slipped past the posterization threshold in the foreground grasses and has blown the red channel. Still, a beautiful and dramatic scene! Link to comment
marty_schoo 0 Posted January 13, 2010 I spent some time in Alberta a few years ago and this part of the province was certainly very interesting. This capture of the field at a low angle of the sun lokms fantastic and the rain from that cloud all lit up red like that is great. Good one! Link to comment
photo by patsy dunn 1 Posted January 15, 2010 Scott, Beautiful image. The darken sky adds drama to the scene. Regards, Patsy Link to comment
davidmeiner 3 Posted January 16, 2010 Very nice scene, Scott. Beyond the beauty of the shot, I like the lines and composition you've chosen. Link to comment
henderson 0 Posted January 17, 2010 Thanks for all your kind comments everyone! Mark... you may be right... I'm not sure. The way the sun was catching the top of the grasses was stunningly bright and golden... it was a challenge to try and reproduce that in post. I'll play around with it some more and see if I can back it off a bit. Thanks again! Link to comment
sranga 2,136 Posted September 25, 2010 Low clouds & long road provide interesting contrast. Excellent image. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted August 25, 2012 Beautiful. The only area that I think could be improved is the very light area in the sky but it is still a beautiful image. PS that Unesco site name was so freaky that I had to look it up and learned something new. Link to comment
