Heaven On Earth (View Large)

This is a very striking image. The colors are beautiful, perhaps a little bit too saturated for me, and the movement in the stream and clear pool at the end captivating.

Overall I think the scene is a little too bluish-purple. The very saturated colors accentuate this even more. It is most noticeable in the water and the neutral gray areas on the rocks. I toned it down to make the colors closer to reality. I don't think it takes away from the atmosphere, just makes it a little more pleasing to the eye.

Scott - Thank you so much for the revised version. I like the winter feeling in the original image, that's why I left it the way it was with some contrast to enhance the colors. However, I also like your version since it has the warmer tones and looks more like the Fall season.

As far as sharing goes...I have to give the credit to my friend Hung Ton whom had shared with me some of the most valuable experience that he had gained over the years as well as helping me to overcome the weather condition 'cause without his help, I wouldn't be able to capture these images. One of the things that I've learned from him is that to always try my very best, to enjoy, and to appreciate the natural beauties like these.

To be able to capture the natural beauty for life and able to share them with my family/friends makes me satisfied...
