People come to have a good time on sunset beach at Somnath, on the left of the picture is a depiction of that with a family in the water, in the center you can see the anticipation in eyes of the camel boy while the camel stares at you, to their right is a second camel sitting down to get a family loaded up and to it's right is the third camel giving people a ride along the beach... Repeating these steps over & over again is the life & story of the camel boy... Each ride is for around 15 minutes and costs only Rs. 10 per ride (ie Rs. 5 per person per ride)... To put in perspective that is equal to 10 cents per person for a ride. We went horse back riding in North Dakota and it was $40 per person for 15 mins... Link to comment
