Great angle on this kid. He seems quite serious in this shot. I think I prefer it to the end photo, especially in terms of composition.

I love the soft pastel color. The darks seem more a rich brown than true black, which gives a nice feel to the piece His expression is so dour for such a little guy, but well captured.

A nicely composed candid with the curtains behind him providing a respite from the black hole an open window usually provides. Soft, low contrast overcast light reveals details in his face which would possibly be hidden in shadow under direct sunlight. Looking left, into the frame, he seems intent on something below. Not sure what he's holding in his right hand; a rock to drop on some unsuspecting tourists head perhaps? Watch your camera gear Pnina! :-) In your other version his expression has improved. Is it because he saw your friendly smiling face behind the camera??? Best, LM.

Jack,it is two versions, different, you have chosen the one you think it better ;-)) fine with me.

Thanks Mario and Alberto .

Jeff, it was in reality dark brown( rusty) and not black. He looks dour , he was looking out from the window on the third floor , he was smiling when he saw we are photographing him. I think he liked it.

Len, you made me smile, it was a covered alley( in part, that is the overcast light reason, and people are walking there all the time, so I think he was observing the street , and smiled when he saw us photographing him, we said hello to him ( waving our hand...) so even though not verbal we have had a short contact with him.;-))
