I caught this expression on Shauna's face just as the huge Ferris Wheel

decided to make a sudden stop at the very top....this was Summer

of '89....it was one of my favorite years for music...fun with my children,

my husband Jim(fiance then)....Shauna was only 13 then...time sure

flys!! ..........comments welcome with appreciation....Gail

A very nice presentation, no personally only. A nice face with a beautiful girls expression, and the high key improve a tender and intimacy of this picture. It is Homage to my girl, simply. Do what you love, you know better, this is the best way in this situation. Ed

Really nice processing Gail, there is a fresh and vibrant air to the picture. The glasses are definitely "wild". I wonder if Shauna would wear them now!

Older images can be magic, they capture memories for us in hard copy and become more valuable with each passing year.

Good image Gail, Take care, Bill

Bill, actually those glasses are one of the favorite things I remember about Shauna's teen years.....She wasn't crazy wild..just had that personality of one with a huge heart.....capable of loving anyone or anything deserving of the emotion, and up to trying anything that was a bit of fun...(nothing too outrageous..) but she also was naive in the 'sweetest way'.....we had some of the greatest 'belly laughs' out of some of the things she would say

I found those glasses a few years back and gave them to her.....and I'm sure she would wear them today if she were on her own......despite everything, (when not being monitored).....she loves a great laugh over little things that others may not find comical....but all I have to do is look at her and we can be laughing so hard we're crying...My husband would just look at us and shake his head.....

Besides my great love for her.....it's those great laughs that have you rolling on the floor, and exhausted when you're done.......and once it's over, you realize how you truly needed to laugh till you 'dropped'. Tnks for your comments on this shot....I can't wait to scan the Neg. and do it over.....best regards, Gail

What a lovely change for what we call 'Shades'.....I'll have to try that one on the Grankids.....they'll think Gran's gone 'mad'.....or maybe I'll start a new 'fad'....tnks for your comment....always love to hear from you....sincerely, Gail
