What attracted my attention on this shot was the way the heron has turned it's back to the predators and the "snicky" way the alligators stare at it (especially the bigger one on top). The viewer definitely anticipates to see what happens next and this feeling by itself is enough for a successful wildlife photo. Nice shot Richard, regards from Greece
