I think these are Trumpeter Swans but I am not positive. They could be

Tundra. If you can identify them definitly, let me know.

Birte, there really are places that are pretty close to fairy lands. One of these days you will have to come up here to shoot in the Canadian Rockies. http://www.canadianrockies.net/

 

Holger, it was above the freezing point but I sure wouldn't want to swim with them. I don't know how they manage not to freeze their feet and tail feathers.

This is one of the most beautiful, entrancing, and peaceful winter scenes I've encountered Linda...I think your timing could'nt be better and your p/p is lovley...congrats, Gail

Great to hear from you Linda....As always, your winter scenes are the best. We have snow and frigid temperatures here right now. I may venture out a little today, but have to strip wallpaper as well. I really like how you dropped this into a white background and added the drop shadow to the image. Great depth. Becky
