Thank you so much, Mike! And thanks for the kind comment that you left for me while we were gone. We had an excellent trip, good weather and lots of time for photography. I loaded over 1100 shots to my iMac last night. As I'm sure you have experienced, what you dream through the viewfinder doesn't always come true. But, the process is still a great joy and very worth it!

 

I hope that you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and that "Santa" blessed you with some new glass:-) Looking forward to an active 2010. I'll be spending more time with PN this year...health care reform is a mess and although I am still actively involved, my part is quite small.

Dick,perfect viewpoint.like the balance between the various elements, the sea & sky nicely balance the mountain & the sandy beach. It seems to be a given not to evenly balance the hoizon, but I don't agree, your image creates a feeling of restfullnesss, a perfect place to sit & enjoy the view. Lucky you.
