Hi thankyou for your comments, the mist/fog you refer to was actualy surface snow being blown off the opposite field, it diffused the light heading down the path. We havent had snow like this here for good few years!

Hello Martyn ,this spell of bad weather since Christmas has given us many opertunities which we are not always able to get reguarding snow photography,i think you nailed it spot on re exposure ,something i am still not happy with but your s are exelent .Barrie

I would have walked to work if they would have let me, (dont get paid if we dont go in) on the brighter side like you said it does give the opportunity to get out with the camera. Today was perfect, bright low sun most of the day, the wind was whipping up snow from the fields and off of the trees. Appreciate your kind comments.
