The title of this work is "Día de Reyes" because today, January6, the Western Christianity celebrates the Magi on the day of Epiphanyor Día de Reyes, particularly in the Spanish-speaking parts ofthe world. In these Spanish-speaking areas, the three kings (Sp. "losReyes Magos de Oriente", also "Los Tres Reyes Magos" and "Los ReyesMagos") receive wish letters from children and magically bring themgifts on the night before Epiphany (the figure of Santa Claus onlyappeared in recent years).
