Dune Swirl

I was looking for the last image of the day when I spotted this gentle swirl. The upward stretching shaded dune provided the perfect contrast to emphasize the curve. The background dunes were still lit by the sun's after glow as was the s curve. I added some contrast to make the curve stand out a little more but I did little else to enhance upon nature's art.It is best if viewed larger.

Very, very nice! Like a new car, this has nice lines! I like how the eye follows the S-curve and then continues along the edge of the dune to the UR corner of the frame. The bit of sun-lit mountains in UR gives a sense of depth too. The little bit of black stuff at extreme right edge is maybe a little distracting, but not a big deal. Cool shot! Cheers! Chris

You keep coming up with some really fantastic shots from the DV trip. No exception here. I actually like the upper right portion because I think it gives some more depth to the shot...Lefty
