sue_foll1 0 Posted January 1, 2010 Ooh ooh, you're on my wavelength. Love this!. he's a lumber jack and cuts down trees. He's swinging the axe. Any other interpretations? Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted January 2, 2010 After viewing your Berlin pics, I'm on that wavelength. Intriguing. His eye engages the viewer, preventing him from looking victim-like -- makes him more suspicious. Or perhaps he is fleeing. Link to comment
yann1 0 Posted January 2, 2010 That's a great one, one of the best I've seen in the past month. Excellent Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 2, 2010 looking at your Berlin series which is very interesting and strong.I think this one is very much connected to it ,human behind bars looking for freedom?. The story is there, the composition light and color palette as well. Link to comment

alones 2 Posted January 3, 2010 Thank you All very much . I'm so glad you All got the right impression . I took a photo of that iron door/gate a year ago and looking at it I knew I have to insert something behind it that will give the impression of horror . A few days ago I found this photo from the holocaust , A very sad and horrifying one , And the man in the photo have that expression that hypnotize me , like penetrating my soul , and i knew ...... that is the horror, sadness and agony i wanted to see behind that crack . Donna Stavis 0 Posted January 4, 2010 Alon, it's important work and so challenging to express something new about what happened. I'm impressed. Link to comment

Art X Photography 1 Posted January 27, 2010 I have come back to this image on occasion and studied it. I find both images confronting. I don't know if I like them because I don't necessarily like the reminders of that part of our history, however, I do recognize the necessity of never forgetting that history either. As always your work makes me stop and think and that I cannot fault. Nicely done Alon Link to comment
