Surprising harmony between these different shore birds. They truly did

hang out together for some time on this stone.

I quite like your composition. It has a sense of peace with the two birds staring off into the distance surrounded by the natural beauty of this setting. They do radiate a sense of being companions at least for this moment.

I probably would have played around with the shadows and highlights trying to lightened the shadows along the rocks and tried to bring out the textures in the ocean a bit more, bumping up the contrast. And I might have sharpened just the two birds a bit.

But really, that's just a different artistic vision. It's a beautiful scene as framed (I like how you picked up the red and black of the bird.
