You have asked for critique here, well in my humble opinion i cant find much, it is such a beautiful image of a beautiful scene as others have mentioned the warm tones of the foreground up against the cold blues of the water snow & sky, the 2 swans add a little more to the lovely mood of the photo, the only thing that i wold say is that i think that it would have made a wonderful B/W image.

That is a terrific image. The treatment is very well done, that blue cast makes everything look so much colder. The composition is great, I like how the bridge leads the eye to the house and those 2 swans makes the image all that better.

Thanks for looking in, no doubt you recognise the bridge and cottage as one at Llanwrwst, North Wales, as you know the "cottage" is actually a cafe` but I used a bit of poetic license calling it "River Cottage" Best Wishes for 2010 John
