As I walked by I thought it was just an old abandoned building. Maybe

old but apparently not abandoned.

Have been sitting here for quite a while trying to think how to describe the dog's demeanor and think that "apprehensive" fits best. The textures and varied materials give remarkable character to the image. Gritty and interesting.

I had such an emotional reaction to this image. The dog was actually wagging its tail. It seemed genuinely happy to see me. Happy and sad at the same time.
