What makes this work so well for me is that the wheel is not centered in the frame, and the thin strip of dark background at the top.

A very nice photograph Els, but suddenly I am very happy to live where we have little snow in the winter.

Dear Shawn, this situation is not so common here in Holland, so for me it is GREAT to see this.... snow is now almost all gone, but in a couple of day it will be again, and even freezing, what is much more interesting, because of skating, Holland gets crazy when we can skate on nature ice.....
