I hope you are keeping well!

The textures on this image are what do it for me, the old rendered masonry takes on it's own indentity with age and you have portrayed it well here along with the weathered timbers of the door. There are also various curves and lines that are quite subtle, but weave an intricate pattern within the frame, The whole composition seems simple, but it is understated as there is a lot more to this image than first meets the eye!

Eduard, thank you so much for your comment.......I was so unsure of this image...the color tones were very difficult with all the different arches, and I am sure one day I will be able to do an even better job of it...your encouragement certainly means a lot, as it has throughout the year.

Many thanks for your visit and kind comments.......hubby boht me a new laptop for CHRISTMAS but finding the colors so different to my desktop......no New Year's Plans yet....my Mom is not very well....worried...so may just 'cozy' up at parent's place ...... ring it in with the ones that mean the most....2010....sounds so wierd....who would'a thunk we'd reach a year that almost sounds 'Sci Fi' ????
