These appear to be men of some standing, not to be crossed or trifled with. In this restaurant, over coffee, decisions are made and the course of men's lives altered irrevocably. That's the impression I receive from the beautifully composed and executed picture.

great you've caught the men in a moment like this, looks indeed like they're the ones who make decisions and perhaps give orders, the room, its ambience and also the post-processing echoes some gangster movies, I guess they weren't aware of being photographed as had they been, you'd have been in real danger:-}.
