mikeoday 0 Posted December 21, 2009 I've not read the book; saw the movie - although I seem to recall spending more time looking at Smila than the snow... Anyway enough of that - I love this image for its simplicity and its uniqueness. I can almost hear the silence. Wonderful and lovely, well done. Cheers, Mike Link to comment
whoz_the_man_huh 0 Posted December 21, 2009 Awesome stuff as always, Tim. The deluge of cottony white here is attractive and softly beautiful. Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted December 23, 2009 I have not read the book but I love the photo so I will brave breaking the rules. Lovely balance here although I find myself wishing for a bit more snow at the bottom. The best of the season to you , your wonderful pooches and your family from all of us out here in the woods. Hoping for some polar bear dip photos soon. Link to comment
tholte 16,678 Posted December 23, 2009 Gordon, you have always been a violater of my rules but I keep letting you slide because you are north of the proverbial border. It would be fun to see my two mutts run in the snow with yours. The Great Pyrennes have to be the most fun dogs in the world to watch. I see what you mean about the snow on the bottom, it does seem unbalanced. I hope you, your family (dogs to of course) have a beautiful holiday this week and I will be shooting the Polar Bear crazies in a week. Link to comment
