Not Here 93 Posted December 19, 2009 Andrew... A classic portrait with her enigmatic smile and demure pose. I'm not sure about the need for cropping and your intent for the portrait, but it's an excellent shot regardless.... Mike Link to comment
kombizz 15 Posted December 19, 2009 what a beautiful model posing in front of your camera and as a result you managed to capture her beauty in your lovely image Link to comment
papasan 0 Posted December 21, 2009 Stunning portrait. Beautiful model and lovely capture. Good engaging eye contact and nice color scheme. My only small nit is i would like to see a bit more separation with the background. Very nicely done - michel Link to comment
andrzejp 7 Posted December 21, 2009 Michael, Thank you for your comment. I agree that a bit more separation from the black background would OK. I see what I can do with the original ARW file. Link to comment
william_staniforth 0 Posted December 21, 2009 Beautiful ! Allowing the black to merge into the background works for me . Looks good viewed large ! The ony suggestion I can make , is to clone out one catchlight in the eyes . Regards , Bill Link to comment

macmoss 0 Posted December 26, 2009 I am much more conscious of all the things that make this photo so powerful, than issues of whether more could be done. I think we are all more critical perhaps of our own work than others'. Other than the obvious evocation of female beauty, in such a tasteful, personal, and painterly way, the two things I love most about this are the crop (very artistic rather than 'modern', with all the negative space, and the head positioned perfectly, I think), and the so gracefully posed and framed hand, with the line of the wrist and veil both leading into the face. You have a terrific eye and portfolio. I will look for more of your artistry! Link to comment
