it looks very nice. I wonder if it would look even better with having the banks extend all the way down - the snow-covered trees are beautiful and thus would form a great frame for the waterfall. Cheers, Micheal

Thanks Micheal, if you pull back, the falls don't appear as dramatic and some over-hanging trees intrude in to the frame. Actually, I'm standing in the middle of the river here getting soaked. I had to turn my camera towards the scene and shoot very quickly to stop the lens from getting covered in freezing spray.

I was here a short time ago, and I can't believe you were standing in the creek at this time of year!  Well, actually, I know you were, but you're hardier than I; hopefully you were wearing hip waders.  Great perspective.  The white "nothingness" at the top of the falls is cool -- like a portal into another dimension.
