That is a vivid rainbow! Even through the windshield it turned out nicely! Did you use a wide angle lens? I saw a double rainbow out in southern Alberta this past August. By the time I could get stopped and get my camera equipment out of the trunk, it had faded. I was so disappointed! I'll bet you were thrilled to get this!

Check out the Waterton 2009 folder. this rainbow lasted all day, there's a couple of other interesting shots of it. I now have a Nikon Coolpix p90, that is the built in/the only lens it has I used.

Love the composition, balance and the colour, especially the change of blues.

(The mountains and scrub outline would be great with a touch more sharpness, to bring out the detail.)
