dabar 0 Posted December 13, 2009 Tried a little different File Save Configuration on this image, lowerpixel count but larger size. This level of detail is difficult to retain through the postingprocess on p.net.   Some saturation was lost, but that seems to bethe only significant loss.Comments/critiques/suggestions are most welcome. Thanks for having a look... dabar 0 Posted December 13, 2009 The frame is the only `peaceful' element in this image... the rest is very busy...But, the image represents the myriad paths we follow during the course of our lives, some far-flung, most near home-base.Thanks for your visit and kind words. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted December 14, 2009 Not only is the frame terrific but also the image and then I read the first comment and saw that someone else likes the frame also. I presume - all done with PS as opposed to a purchased action. Dave - you are the point with your graphics that no one else that i see is in your league. This genre of image is not for everyone but i sure appreciate the aesthetics and creativity. You should be printing and exhibiting in a place where people will like it even though I suspect you won't make a million dollars. Now back to the frame - I see filter/texture and I will try and figure out the rest. Link to comment

dabar 0 Posted December 17, 2009 I have always felt that, when presenting an image, a frame was the final finishing touch.   However, many, here on p.net do not seem to see things that way. The frame was done by adding borders and then shading or adding texture. Link to comment
