Monis, it was taken with F2.8 at 1/125 of a second, macro and spotmeter setting was on as well. I had the sky filter on and the camera was set to shutter priority. Thanks for your comments. I want to see some new pictures from you too.

I wish my butterfly photos were as nice. The really great aspect of this photo is the contrasting background colors accenting the subject. Nicely done.

Excellent butterfly photo. Depth of field just right to make this butterfly stand out in sharp contrast to the background. Great color matching/contrast to the flowers. Might be nice with the butterfly more diagonal or off center...but excellent just the way it is!
