Jack McRitchie 150 Posted February 15, 2010 The colors, which pull off the neat trick of being both intense and subtle at the same time, really distinguish this picture for me. I am struck by the almost surgical precision of the capture. There's not an extraneous note. Link to comment
janahughes 0 Posted May 28, 2010 I've looked at your portfolio few times now and I still keep coming back to this picture. This will probably sound strange to you, but I grew up in Czech Republic during the communist era and this pictures reminds me of the wonderful theaters with opulent red curtains combined with some very practical features, there were all too many of places like that in my country at the time. The colours on this photo are amazing, beautifully combined, complimenting each other, The stairs make me want to see more, and I like the person in the photo, she adds another dimension to what would ordinarily be an architectural photo. Perfect for me. Regards, Jana Link to comment
alones 2 Posted May 30, 2010 Thank you Jana , It's interesting to see the influence of The Red curtain without even thinking about the way this color ruled a major part of the world . Thank you for bringing me this point of view Link to comment
