Very nice work, Apurva!

I like this one a lot when I first see it and then I ask why I like it. Here is my interpretation of why I might have liked it. To begin with, this photo has very nice colors and interesting textures plus the expression of the man is very well captured. His expression and his hands give the impression that he is in deep thoughts. I like this enigmatic mood in his face. His body pose is very interesting too. With these elements this photo is already very nice. But I think what makes this photo even more interesting is interesting contrasts that are not immediately noticeable first.

The rest of the analysis is based on a more careful look at the photo. It is more subjective and may be very wrong :)

He looks comfortable physically but the chair looks off-balance (a contrast). His body and his expression are creating a contrast as well (one relaxed and the other one is in deep thoughts). Aesthetically, my only critique is the left part of the photo. It looks brighter than the rest of it and when combined with the red carpet, it gets a little more attention than it should get. But that is my thought and not that important.

I also checked your last three photos and I think this one really stands out. Congratulations.
