lonebearimages 0 Posted December 6, 2009 Hey, this came out very, very nicely. It really grabs the eye. Wonderful lead-in, and terrific processing. Good work, Leo. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
leo burkey 0 Posted June 30, 2010 This is one of those scenes were a single exposure just isn't going to get the job done. This wash is on the Artist Drive area of Death Valley, the sun had just risen and the foreground wash was in complete shade.I used three exposures with Photomatrix to produce this HDR image. I could have as easily blended two exposures, one for the foreground and one for the sky but the HDR looked fine ( not too HDR looking.) There was quite a bit of haze to deal with in the sunlit portion but a gradient seem to tame it enough to show details.I think this captures the "feel" of Death Valley quite well. What do you think? lonebearimages 0 Posted June 30, 2010 Revisiting this image again, and loving it all over! What a great morning that was for the 'Three Amigos' too. I just love the sunlight catching the tips of the hills in the middle-distance. Wonderful processing, Leo. Cheers! Bear Link to comment
hamidfarzandian 0 Posted July 1, 2010 Leo. You did the job great. Your F/G is sharp enough and apparent, as well as nicely exposed far. I think you used tone compressor part of Photomatix, which in my eyes yields very better results than detail enhancer, specially in nature landscapes. My best wishes. Hamid. Link to comment
