RickDB 10 Posted December 4, 2009 ...of this famous fortess monastery. Excellent exposure with good detail in the shadowy roof beams. One suggestion, the central pillar is not quite vertical (sometimes difficult to get just right with very wide angle lenses). However, a little tweaking with the perspective control in Photoshop can quickly set things straight. Architectural shots like work because of the symmetry - if the central vertical is out of line, then the whole image becomes asymmetric and less pleasing to the eye. Converging verticals don't matter so much, but while you are in PS you may as well correct both - who needs a TS lens!! Thanks for sharing, Cheers, RickDB Link to comment

spenaloza 0 Posted December 4, 2009 Thanks Rick and Przemek for your kind words, Rick, I appreciate your suggestion and comment , I have shot this picture with a Sigma 15-30mm and to be honest I am not very happy with this lens because I get some blur (violet color almost in the middle and then I have to retouch it in PS) I am looking forward to buy a Nikon 16mm and a 24mm PC next year, in the meantime I have to hold to Sigma . I wish Nikon had a 17 mm PC , well Rick , have a great day and best regards from sunny Mexico // Salvador Link to comment
