You have captured this very well - an image which I can enjoy. I like the shadows heading off into the black. This is well photographed subject but that should not deter you from putting your stamp on it.

Very nice Liz. I always like seeing such shadow photograph of towers and someday I hope to have one of my own to show.

Nice. Good shot. Makes me want to climb those stairs. My only suggestion would be to crop a little off the right side, maybe half the black area.

I am so grateful for the nice comments. I wish I could explain why I chose this perspective, but all I know is that I wanted something unpredictable.

Liz: Really like this photo. I have been working with a technique that creats a line drawing on a new layer and then I change the layer to multiply. It works well with some photos. Here's your's done that way. In PS it gives much sharper edges. Tom

Liz: In PSE8 I have an guided edit that creats a pencil drawing of the image in a new layer. The edit effectively finds the edges of the features in the photo. I then change the new layer's blending from normal to multiply. This creats a very slightly brighter image and gives sharper edges. Understand? See my photo "Phone Booths" and "Bayeux - Restaurant" I used the same technique on both. Tom
