df 0 Posted February 2, 2010 For those that wanted to see complete trees with some separation from the pictures border you'll need to advance to Tim's "Stranger in a Strange Land". The solitary figure, head bent, shoulders stooped makes this one evocative. Is the sun going up or going down on his life? You'll never know. This is my pick. If I took this picture I would print a 13x19 and frame it and hang it on my wall. Way to go, Tim! Link to comment
tamsyn_taylor 0 Posted February 7, 2010 In both of the treeish pictures, one of the things that I am really enjoying is the contrast of 2x3. Particularly in this photo one gets a sense of there being two orders, two rows of trees, each of particular form and pattern and arranged in their own rows, They come together with the nearer spreading trees creating a framefo the distant objects. the positioning of the largest tree in relation to the sun and person is perfect. The negative shapes around the trees and framed by the trees work really well. This is just stunning. Link to comment
