This photo has a very strong initial impact as it is visually stunning.  After a minute of looking at it, the conflicting elements begin to give away the fact that it is a composite image.  The sky is shot just after sunset, but the landscape shows very defined shadows generated by direct sunlight.

For me, this gives the photo a cartoonish feel, much the same as meduim budget sci-fi films like the Dune mini-series.

Your skills are certainly evident, but I would put more effort into making sure that there are no obvious inconsistencies in the finished product (such as defined shadows from a sun that has already set).
