amalsircar 2 Posted November 28, 2009 Pnina, well and balanced composition, with subtle play of light, shade & colours. Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted November 29, 2009 Quite complex, but well composed as usual :-) The arch includes the two main elements, the couple of lamps. The right one connects the scene by its suspension to the outside part. Good choice the not-excactly centered position of the other lamp Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted November 29, 2009 Exquisitely composed, Pnina. The inclusion of the arch ensures the character of the Old City, the lanterns show the stylish modern life amidst such an ancient city of alleys leading who knows where, and the bit of sky is a relief from claustrophobia. The street address grounds the viewers, as we stroll through. Like the greenery crawling on the stones, this teams with life. The perspective is excellent. Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted November 30, 2009 2978! An address? A fine detail with the old (ancient?) and the new (modern?) being displayed together, the balconies being useful only as supports for antennas. Contrasts of a different kind. Appears to be a dead end in a maze of alleys. Keep 'em coming Pnina. You are providing a valuable glimpse of an ancient city to those of us who are unable to view them first hand. Best, LM. pnital 36 Posted December 6, 2009 Kaushik, for liking and writing your feedback. Sorry for being late.... Len, sorry for the late answer somehow missedto answer you ( not usually my habit) I don't know what was new and what was old as the melange is all over at least the antennas are relatively " new". I'm glad I can provide a glimpse, that was my aim. I hope you will come to see it in your own eyes, worth the Journey..... Daniel thanks ,always glad to read you in my files Link to comment
adan1 0 Posted December 8, 2009 The arch unifies all the elements found throughout this charming composition. Each detail calls for one's undivided attention. The Old City is like a cave full of treasures to be discovered. Link to comment
