this is a great shot as to the pose/look of the kid. It seems that his face could use better lighting, like from a flash -it seems to be too drab; his hands are better lit and the contrast difference makes his face look sickly). To my taste the background figure is more distracting than helpful (you call it "Boy & Girl", but the BG figure looks more like a ghost).
