Excellent image, and an excellent title! What intrigues me the most with this image is the strong convergence of so many of the elements at the crest of the dune and in the saddle of the mountains. This is superbly composed, exposed, and processed. Very nicely done! Cheers! Chris

Wow. The form you've captured here is astonishingly dynamic, even for a landscape of superlatives. Great sky complimenting the foreground, too.

The Mesquite Dunes fields of Death Valley. These smaller dunes fields

east of Stovepipe Wells dunes are intertwined with hardpan between the

sand dunes. I worked hard to eliminate the hardpan in most of my

images but this time it seem to strengthen this composition. This was

taken a week ago on a trip with my buddies from PN Chris Harris and

Ray Banfield. We only had one day with clouds and this was taken on

that day..

A unique shot in a wonderful place. The textures in the left two thirds really capture the wind and motion of the place and without the clouds, well, you know, the sky would be boring. It is good to see the three of you put together another trip. Great stuff.

Sky, textures, light and interest....this has it all. This is special and very unique. I really like the view you used to capture this. The sand in the f/g leads me in and my eyes follow the swirl to the left first then up and into the background, never wanting to leave the frame. Nice work!

Warm regards, Pamela
