paolo de faveri 1 Posted November 25, 2009 Hi everyone, I've started a new folder where I will gather all my black and white pictures. Some of them are "original" b&w, in the sense that a colour version does not exist. Most of them will be b&w conversion of already posted pictures. Your comments and critiques are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for your time. Paolo Link to comment

paolo de faveri 1 Posted November 26, 2009 Thanks all for your comments, I appreciate that. Adi, sorry, I forgot to add the techs to the post. Yes, this is a multiple exposure - or composite as you wish - of 5 shots of 15" @f11 each. I did that just to be able to record a larger number of bolts than what I would have got with only one exposure. Rgds, Paolo Link to comment
Enrico Link to comment

BelaMolnar 2 Posted December 30, 2009 I like . . . most of your images, . . . . but this, the b/w and color version is a copy and past image and done very poorly. You have a very visible separation on the horizon, where you inserted the sky, and the lightning is not proportional of the general image scale, during the 5 or 6 lightning has enough time for the clouds to move, it is not possible to get a sharp clouds during 5 lightning time. The lightning strike not natural aether. It is not a put down comment, it is to warn and help you, next time observe nature more carefully to copy it. Good idea, I would re edit the image to make more believable. I believe, with a "nice" "fantastic" comments, I wouldn't help you at all. Cheers; Bela Link to comment
