TQ Ruud, Alberto. Not easy to shoot without any crowds here at the Bayon temple. The area was blocked off from the tourists as it was reserved for a television documentary.

Nice capture of a cool place. I think I would like it better if the dancer was more prominent in the foreground. You were indeed lucky to be there when there was no tourist traffic. GJ

TQ Jim, I do have more images of the dancer which I will post later. This is to highlight the huge faces of the King Jayavarman VII, and stands at the centre of his capital, Angkor Thom. Its most distinctive feature is the multitude of smiling faces on the towers which rise up to its central peak.

The Bayon is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia. It was built in the 13th century as the state temple.

I suppose I always favor pretty girls rather than stone faces no matter how historically important the stones are!

And to think I almost wanted to use another photo of the temple without anyone. I included the dancer only to show the size of the temple faces. An interesting sight to behold.
