plewenthal 0 Posted November 21, 2009 I'd say you're off to a great start and all parties should benefit. What a vivid image of an ancient practice. I might be tempted to crop off the top of his head (sacrilege!) to emphasize his facial expression, but you're way ahead of me at this game. Cheers, Phil Link to comment

steveshinn 0 Posted November 21, 2009 Beautiful work Birte! You have captured the real essence of the scene. One my goals is to get my hands on a didgeridoo and serenade the neighbors with it. We plan to make a trip to the other end of this rock one of these days... hopefully, before it gets completely trashed. BTW. I could not agree more with your philosophy as stated on your page but wonder how long it will be before folks really start dealing with population, "the elephant in the room" that drives all of the problems on the planet.... my words; "Too many people making too many people!". Keep the faith! Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted November 23, 2009 Magnificent shot Brite ! I can't imagine even being fortunate enought to walk among these people.....let alone "record" their rituals. Thankfully we have your 'eyes' and incredible photographic talents to be our 'eyes'. Thankyou so much for sharing this series with us. sincerely, Gail Link to comment
3m 0 Posted November 23, 2009 I am just going back to the picture that brought me over to your truly outstanding portfolio! I am very impressed by the whole series of "Music of The Dreamtime", but this one is one of my favorites. I love the slightly diagonal composition, the beautiful colors and mood ( which the whole serie has as well), and the intensity of this man blowing on his instrument. A truly beautiful photo!!! Kind regards, Marjolein Link to comment
deniselanterman 0 Posted November 23, 2009 Birte, another example of your great talent and vision. Thank you for exposing me to people, places, and animals I may never see. You make what can seem otherwise unreal and removed, very present and very real. A feast for my eyes and my thoughts. Regards, Denise Link to comment
