Yes, she does look like she is 11 going on 25. Sophie is a very pretty girl -- very soon to be a beautiful young lady -- maybe too soon!

 

You have mentioned her skin. She has very good composition, contrast, color saturation, catch lights, neutral background use, posing, hair light, make-up, specular highlights on her lips, eye contact with the camera (viewer) and expression.

 

I find your lighting a little flat. Judicious use of shadows on her face can add interest and the illusion of depth within your photograph.

 

Her eyes are a bit dilated. Stronger modeling lights or room lights can easily fix that problem.

 

Although her hair is interesting, I find it a bit in disarray and would like to see it brushed.

 

Her red top is pretty, but my eyes keep jumping to the bright color and away from her lovely face.

 

Sleeveless clothing in head and shoulders portraits can cause problems. You want the viewer’s eyes to go to the subject's face without constantly jumping to her arm or shoulder. You do not want her face to compete with any other light areas in your photograph.

 

This is a very well done head and shoulders portrait.
