jpo3136b 0 Posted November 20, 2009 I like the diagonals and model position and costuming and color choice. That green overlapping the staff, I'm not so sure I'd like that. I'd suggest one step to the left to break that touch of the green over the staff. Really, if there was a way to get those branches completely out of the frame, I would like that better here. Some of the area above the subject, that water, is not very active. Maybe this would have called for one or two steps to the left and maybe a step forward. Link to comment
rdo 0 Posted November 20, 2009 faith, earth, air, water, .., and fire(stick) all together to make reality the prayer. Gut composition and expressions. Well done...! Ricardo Link to comment

gsphotoguy 3 Posted November 21, 2009 I like the branches in the image. It gives the feeling that you captured this scene unfolding and that it was not posed. I like the composition and the overall feeling. Link to comment

3m 0 Posted November 23, 2009 I very much like the colors, light, and mood of the picture. But I personally have to agree with John; I think that the branches on the right are too distracting in this picture. I somehow feel that the nice play of unobstructed diagonal lines, and the tranquil setting are being ruined by the too prominent place the fuzzy branches are taking. I think that it is rather distracting to my eyes, and not really necessary. ( One can perceive the nice dof also on the diagonal foreground) But it's a very nice and interesting photo!
